While in Boston, we stopped by the Harvard Museum of Natural History and discovered some lovely fake nature. No clue what I was aiming my phone at here. Although I liked how the antelope and varmints at the end of the hallway, all seemed to be going in the same direction, as if they’re heading to a meeting.

Everybody who enters the glass-flower exhibit asks the same question, “Are these really glass? The stems? The leaves?” Then their mouths fall open as they realize, yep. It’s difficult to fathom the amount of work and attention to detail needed the create these botanical treasures. Mind blowing!

The naturalists and consummate glass artisans, Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka, created the nearly 4,400 life-size models, entirely of glass, between 1886 and 1936.

I was in Boston so my wife could run the marathon. Here I learned why the Boston subway is called the T. . . It’s because of T.J. Maxx.

I didn’t run the Boston Marathon, but I did attend the expo, so almost the same thing. I really liked these mannequins, running above the shoppers. Although they didn’t show up on the leaderboard, I think they were the big winners.
